L2 Marine has been specifically formulated for marine environment applications. It is ideally suited to the operating conditions and working environment of rudder and pintle bushes, which can be either water, oil or grease lubricated, or be operating under dry conditions.

L2 Marine has approval with Lloyd's Register of Shipping for use as a synthetic rudder bearing material, for a bearing pressure of 5.5Nmm-2 under wet and dry conditions, and for a bearing pressure of 10Nmm-2 under wet and dry conditions.

ACM is also a Germanischer Lloyd approved manufacturer of rudder and pintle bearing bushes in L2 Marine under wet and dry conditions.
