ACM is a suitable material for spherical bearings in
applications where conventional steel-on-steel or metallic
bearings cannot be used because of difficult environmental
or service conditions.
In general, ACM spherical bearings should be used in
"static" or slow speed applications, although
reasonable rotational speeds can be considered where
the shaft rotates within the bore of the ball with light
loads and good lubrication, which can be provided by
many process liquids.
